"The Stables at Newry Farm was a beautiful, tastefully done restoration. Working with the foundations of the old stables, Angela has brought the residence into the modern day with style and class. We had a fantastic couple of days there. The amenities were excellent and thoughtfully provided. Longford is perfect if you want to relax in the beautiful Tasmanian countryside. It's also close enough to Launceston to drive in for dinner or other activities being only 15 minutes away. It was exactly what we wanted, and Angela was a fantastic host."

"We loved our stay at The Stables. It’s set amongst beautiful gardens with a view down to the river. The Stables have been beautifully renovated with the bones of the original building still lending atmosphere. Fittings, furnishings & linen give a sense of luxury. And practical needs are not forgotten with a well equipped kitchen, yummy breakfast supplies and a super comfy bed. Angela was a friendly and attentive host who also respected our privacy. "We would absolutely stay here again - what an incredible, private, and picturesque location. It felt like a charming English countryside cottage, and stepping inside instantly felt like home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from premium furnishings and quality appliances to the beautiful design and warm, intentional touches. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom luxurious with a rain shower, and the bed unbelievably comfortable with soft, high-quality sheets. The heater kept the space cosy, and little extras like homemade bircher muesli and fresh farm eggs made it truly special. This Airbnb was exceptional, and we cannot recommend it highly enough."

"The Stables at Newry Farm was such a beautiful, peaceful location to base ourselves for 3 nights. Walking in, i was "wowed" at how gorgeous it was. It has been painstakingly restored and is now a very cosy, comfortable, stylish space that i was sad to leave. The lounge is comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed with full size fridge, the bed and pillows ensured a good nights sleep. Heating was great. I especially loved the feel of the old floorboards upstairs. The gentle curve in them from years of wear. They felt so good underfoot. Highly recommend. Great location. You will not be disappointed.
